On Tuesday 19 June, CB Reid hosted a client training seminar alongside Quickbooks Online to support business clients who have opted to adopt the software in preparation for Making Tax Digital (MTD).
30 delegates attended the event at Dorchester Town Football Club and CB Reid Director, Matt Haines, alongside accounts staff Josie Cope and Daniel Hall oversaw the session. Commenting on the training, Matt said “this was the third in a series of events designed to educate and prepare clients for changes in the tax reporting system which come into effect from April 2018. Whilst it will initially affect some of our VAT registered clients, we have found that many others have adopted suitable software now in order to future-proof their record keeping systems against planned changes to other taxes.”
Whilst CB Reid staff are experienced in a variety of bookkeeping software, the firm opted to promote Quickbooks Online, where appropriate, to its clients due to its extensive programme of training and support. If you would like further information on cloud accounting or are considering a suitable package please do get in touch with one of the team.
